Who we are
We’re a small, independent movement having big, honest conversations about how to die well — and, in doing so, how to live better.
Death is, inevitably, part of life. It will touch each of us, directly or otherwise, at some point on our timeline, yet it remains something many of us fear.
Having lost people ourselves — some in tragic, unexpected circumstances, others through illness or age — we know first-hand what loss can feel like. We’ve also witnessed the strange black hole in Western, secular culture: how little we talk about death, dying and grief, and how hard it can be to find clear, useful information when we need it most.
We aim to be the fresh, warm and welcoming presence we once wished for — helping you and yours navigate all aspects of death, dying, goodbyes, funerals, grief, and the rituals that help us remember, without shame or hesitation.
Death is life’s final, epic chapter. Together, we can bring it out of the shadows and into the sunlight.
